This Privacy Policy explains how Ehjouz ("Ehjouz," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit ehjouz.com (the "Site"), sign up as a business using Ehjouz to manage appointments (a "Business"), or book an appointment with a Business through Ehjouz (an "End Customer").

By using the Site or our booking services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

We collect different information depending on how you interact with Ehjouz.

a) Information you give us directly

  • Contact form submissions: your name, email address, phone number, business type, and message.
  • Business account information: business name, contact details, address, services offered, staff information, and business hours, when you sign up to use Ehjouz for your business.
  • Account credentials: username and password (stored securely; we never store your password in plain text).

b) Information collected automatically

  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected for security and basic site functionality (for example, to prevent spam submissions and abuse).
  • Cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 3 below.

c) Information about End Customers

When an End Customer books an appointment with a Business through Ehjouz, we process the information the Business collects as part of that booking — typically the End Customer's name, email, phone number, and appointment details. This information is controlled by the Business the End Customer booked with; Ehjouz processes it on the Business's behalf to operate the booking system.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the booking system for Businesses and their End Customers.
  • Respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form.
  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and related notifications.
  • Protect the Site and our services against spam, fraud, and abuse.
  • Improve and maintain the reliability of our services.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Essential cookies required for the Site and booking system to function (for example, keeping you signed in).
  • Security cookies used by spam-protection services (such as Cloudflare Turnstile) to help distinguish real visitors from automated bots on forms.

4. How We Share Information

  • With the Business an End Customer books with, since that Business needs booking details to provide the service.
  • With service providers who help us operate the Site, such as our hosting provider and email delivery service.
  • When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ehjouz, our users, or others.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and for legitimate business purposes. Businesses can request deletion of their account and associated data; End Customers should contact the Business they booked with, or us directly, to request deletion of their booking information.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure hosting, restricted access to stored data, and spam/abuse protection on public forms. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10.

8. Children's Privacy

Ehjouz is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
